Which fire department services the Auburn area?
There is one Fire/REscue office in Auburn. This office is part of the County's Fire Department and responds to all Fire and EMT emergencies in Auburn. Auburn Fire Department is located at 1335 4th Avenue, on the corner of 4th Ave and County-Line Auburn Rd. Their number is 770-995-1654.

How do I obtain a burn permit?
You may call Georgia Forestry at 770-868-4041 or visit their website at www.gfc.state.ga.us. Georgia Forestry will not issueburn permits during ayearly burn ban that goes into effect from May 1st through September 30 each year, nor will they issue permits due to special conditions(i.e., droughts, wildfire conditions, etc...)
